Location, Location, Location! Looking for the perfect place to fit multiple families for reunions & weddings? This ideally located space is the closest thing to a fairytale life you'll find in Kanab! Located in the heart of the town, but you'd never know it. Pretend you're lost in a magical, shaded oasis as you kick your feet up and relax. The private park-like backyard is the ideal place for large gatherings.

Grammie’s Kanab Retreat consists of 3 houses and a private park-like backyard for guests to enjoy. Grammie's Manor sleeps 10, the Cottage sleeps 6, and the Casita sleeps 4.
Booking this property includes Grammie's Manor and Grammie's Cottage.
Guests are welcome to bring campers ($25/day/each) and set up tents ($10/night/each). Message host for specific details.
The big, shady backyard is a lovely retreat. With lush green grass and large trees overhead, you and your family will love spending time here. Across the yard, you'll find an old sheep camp wagon and fish pond.
Grammie’s Manor:
Offers stunningly unique features that ensure your vacation is memorable. As you head upstairs, the fairytale begins! You'll find a captivating loft that's sure to bring out the kid in everyone. The rest of the home provides more than enough space for your guests, with a large living room, office, and bedrooms on the lower level. It consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a total of 7 beds
The master suite is located on the main floor and has a king bed, two closets, and a TV. Its large ensuite bathroom is sure to impress with its very own TV, walk-in shower, double vanity sinks, and private toilet room.
The upstairs loft is every kid's dream (and the young at heart!) with its imaginative design. You'll find a shared bedroom/play area which has a single twin bed in the main loft and two twin beds tucked away next to each other in their own special area. The loft isn't just a spot for the kids to get some Zzzzz, it's also a place for them to hang out! Other features include a built-in desk, storage cubby, dresser, and large window seat. The loft has its own bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity. Chances are you won't see the kids during the entire time you're here because they'll want to spend all of their time in this one-of-a-kind space playing make-believe!
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with amenities such as a Keurig coffee maker, ice machine, toaster, pots, pans, griddle, hand mixer, blender, baking dish, cookie sheets, and mixing bowls. There's even a small TV. You can choose to enjoy your meal at the kitchen dining table, or in the cozy den that has a round table with more seating. The den also boasts two leather lounge chairs and its own small TV, providing ample space for everyone.
The sun-filled living room is an inviting space to gather with its couch and loveseat, lounge chair, fireplace, and a piano that's waiting to have fun sing-alongs.
There's more magic downstairs, which opens up into a spacious living area with a large sectional couch, TV, fireplace, and closet. There's a private office you can use, a spacious laundry room with double washers & dryers and laundry sink, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The downstairs bunk room has twin and full bunk beds, a dresser, and closet.
The downstairs guest bedroom has a queen bed and its own private kitchenette complete with mini fridge, microwave, sink and barstool. This bedroom also has its own TV, dresser, and double closets, making for the perfect private getaway.
The back patio offers a seating area for 6 and a firepit for chilly nights.
Grammie's Cottage:
Sleeps 6 and is located next to the Manor. Location, Location, Location! Come make some memories in this charming cottage located just steps from downtown. You'll be close enough to everything but far enough to enjoy a relaxing trip. This lovely cottage has everything you need. A bedroom with 2 Queen beds and one sofa sleeper in the living room. Full kitchen with everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. Spectacular view of the southern Utah sunrise and sunset.
A variety of restaurants are just a hop, skip and jump from your front door. Recharge in our cute and cozy 1 bed, 1 bath cottage with high ceilings and tons of natural light. Just a block from downtown Kanab, you can enjoy taking evening strolls around town. Our home is furnished with 2 queen beds and one sofa sleeper.
Upon entry, you'll notice the tasteful decor. Sit, drink, chat, and relax in the cozy living room. Pop some popcorn and put on a late-night movie on the large TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked to be your culinary home away from home. Gather around the dining table to unwind and relax after a busy day whether it's work or play.
The large, tranquil bedroom boasts 2 Queen beds. Snuggle up in the comfy bed for a movie night and awake refreshed and ready for a day of exploring! The living room has a sofa sleeper to accommodate extra guests.
Take a refreshing shower in the ensuite bathroom which is stocked with bathroom essentials including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Don't go home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes, be sure to use our washer & dryer to get those clothes sparkling clean before departure!
Grammie’s Casita
Sleeps 4 and is located directly behind the Manor.
Double French doors open up to the backyard. The large, completely open floor plan is the ideal place to host gatherings and large events. The living room has a couch and two chairs, along with a large TV. There's a queen-size Murphy bed cleverly tucked away in the closet and a sofa bed in the main room. The jaw-dropping barn wood kitchen will wow you with its huge bar complete with 6 bar stools to sit and enjoy an ice-cold drink with dinner. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a commercial sink, stovetop, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, pizza pan, baking dish, cookie sheets, pots and pans. For a small fee, use the flattop grill. There's also a washer & dryer and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and barn wood vanity, continuing the rustic theme.
Grammie's Backyard:
This big, shady backyard is a lovely retreat. The private park-like backyard is the ideal place for large gatherings, including: weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate team building, ect. With lush green grass and large trees overhead, you and your guests will love spending time here. Across the yard, you'll find an old sheep camp wagon and fish pond.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of downtown Kanab! Kanab is a quiet, small, picturesque town. A short walk to Center Street (aka Highway 89) will provide a pleasurable evening stroll past unique shops, restaurants, and a trip down Hollywood's Western Legends past.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
This home is downtown and has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah, a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out-of-the-way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
